What are the responsibilities and job description for the Component Level Audio Repair/Video Electronics Technician position at GS Audio Inc.?
We are open from 9-5 Tuesday-Friday and 10-3 Saturday. I am looking for someone to fill these times. I am open to someown working all or some of the available shifts. I really need someone with an electrical engineering background. I need a repair tech that is familiar and comfortable with component level troubleshooting, and repair of vintage electronics, mostly consumer audio. The ideal candidate with have experience with Audiophile level audio equipment from the past 70 years, be able to test and repair current and antique items including restoration and rebuilding of circuits and equipment. Experience with tube audio is a significant plus! Must be familiar with turntables, amplifiers, tuners, receivers, speakers, modern Audio Video receivers, computers, networking etc.
Military experience a strong plus!
