We are seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bus driving, particularly in school settings.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus following a set schedule and route
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger and School Bus endorsement
- Previous experience in bus driving
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent driving record with no major violations

Duties
- Safely operate school buses and paratransit vehicles along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle mechanical integrity and readiness for daily use
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, school staff, parents, and emergency responders as needed
- Manage student behavior on the bus through positive behavior management techniques
- Complete accurate logs of routes, incidents, and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure compliance with regulations
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for school bus driving or paratransit services
- Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with working knowledge of school bus operations
- Familiarity with driving regulations related to school buses or passenger transport services
