Exploitation Specialist/Cataloguer - Mid

What Impact You'll Have

We're looking for a Mid-Level Exploitation Specialist/Cataloguer to support geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) data cataloguing and print/distribution operations. This role ensures foundational GEOINT products are properly catalogued across multiple databases and supports data-driven analysis for production and dissemination workflows across several government partner teams.

What You'll Be Owning

• Support daily product verification for the print-on-demand business process, including stock number assignments, cancel/use actions, and print file verification.
• Maintain stock status codes and catalog accuracy so products remain reliably searchable and derivable from source databases.
• Maintain the print-on-demand database, master verification spreadsheet, and related metrics.
• Review mapping, maritime, and aeronautical products to confirm continued validity, identify replacements, and coordinate changes, updates, and cancellations with relevant stakeholders.
• Verify products are properly loaded to the print-on-demand website.
• Collaborate with analysts, producers, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders, including for co-production and classification review.
• Keep internal databases current, purging outdated data as needed.
• Develop automation tools and scripts (e.g., Python) to streamline data verification and cataloging workflows.
• Apply data analytics/machine learning to spot usage patterns, improve data quality, and help automate review of outdated products.
• Help design solutions for secure, efficient data transfer between partner databases.
  
  

What You Must Have

• US citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• Demonstrated ability to work with databases and data management principles and practices.
• Experience applying product specifications, data file formats, and data standards.
• Experience with data conversion tools and file format conversion.
• Experience with data extraction, analysis, and finishing of in-house, co-production, commodity, and contracted maps/charts.
• Understanding of print production concepts (color separation, grid layouts, master pages).
• Experience with visualization applications or GRTools.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Voyager/GeoSQRL for validating series, sheet numbers, and NRNs.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general internet research tools.
  
  

What Would Be Nice To Have

• BS In relevant field of study with 5 years of related work experience
• Experience with digital photography and digital/lithographic printing.
• Experience with graphic layout, design, color space, and typography.
• Background in color theory, web design, or layout/conversion and optimization.
• Background in graphic arts or illustration.
• Experience with GEOINT software such as Global Mapper, ArcMap, or ArcPro.
• Ability to query databases such as DLA Catalog, WebFLIS, MEBS, NIP, POD, and GeoSQRL.
• Familiarity with print-on-demand processes and related distribution requirements.
• General knowledge of organizational structure, product requirement/production/dissemination lifecycle, quality control, and product publishing workflows.
• Scripting/automation experience (Python) and familiarity with basic data analytics techniques a plus.
