What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreman Structural Welder Needed! Benefits + OT + Long Term position at GRUS Construction?
Foreman needed for various commercial and structural projects near Lake Point, Utah area. This is a working foreman position, and you will be responsible for leading a small team of 2 while working your tools 95% of the time in both shop and field environments. You should have the ability to perform all job task such as MIG, TIG, stick, and flux core on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum and other metals. Must be able to troubleshoot a variety of on-site projects from railing, cyclones, steps, bucket elevators, conveyor installation, rollers, and so on. You will be expected to provide expertise, direction, and assist with on the job work and to provide feedback to employees and management as needed. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO after 90 days, after 5 years PTO increases to 4 weeks. No health insurance benefits, however, client will work with you on coverage (paying a percentage).You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check upon arrival.
Paying up to $45/hr
Per Diem: $125/ a day for days worked
Duration: Temp to perm
Hours: 50/week
