Based in Janesville, WI, you start by opening SAP to scan purchasing dashboards, investigate spend outliers, and clear MRP exceptions. Mid-morning, you sync with suppliers and internal partners to align on lead times and terms. After lunch, you refine demand forecasts, adjust purchase plans, and prep a brief for leadership that spotlights savings opportunities and process wins. You wrap by updating procurement records so tomorrow’s decisions are faster and smarter.

How you’ll make an impact

• Turn purchasing data and trends into actionable insights that drive cost reduction and workflow improvements.
• Maintain precise procurement records in SAP, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms.
• Track inventory positions and build demand forecasts to secure on-time material availability.
• Create management-ready reports and presentations to communicate performance and KPIs.
• Contribute to the creation and rollout of purchasing policies and standard operating procedures.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience in purchasing/procurement, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced proficiency with SAP and related procurement tools.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret data and guide decisions.
• Clear communicator and effective negotiator.
• Meticulous, organized, and deadline-driven.
