Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Interpreter at Grupo Noa International. The Interpreter will provide accurate and efficient interpretation services in real-time conversations to bridge language barriers between English-speaking and non-English-speaking individuals. Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, interpreting phone conversations, facilitating communication effectively, and ensuring clear and professional interactions.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language (e.g., Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Mandarin, or others actively supported by Grupo Noa International).
- Excellent verbal communication skills, active listening, and the ability to convey information clearly and accurately.
- Experience in interpretation or translation, preferably in customer service or business settings.
- Proficient in time management, multitasking, and maintaining attention to detail in a remote work environment.
- Strong cultural competence and the ability to handle sensitive communications with professionalism and empathy.
- Knowledge of modern virtual communication platforms and familiarity with virtual call center operations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interpretation, Linguistics, Communications, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
