Mission:
Responsible for the fulfilment of the objectives of production in terms of productivity, quality, time and costs. Manages, coordinates, directs and controls activities of the staff of the Team Lead and Line Leads, sets the daily workloads, and leads various efforts to achieve them, balanced lines, monitors the efficiency of the work carried out and controls the volume and the quality of the production.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all production and quality requirements are met timely and efficiently.
- Responsible to ensure all production supervisors are managing production employees and making sure all are trained in safety, production tasks, policies and procedures.
- Responsible to communicate production changes, work instruction changes and hours needed to work to meet customer requirements.
- Responsible to enforce all housekeeping and 5S throughout the production environment.
- Complete required paperwork connected to Production timely and correctly.
- Confirm that daily team huddles are conducted.
- Ensure Red Table meetings are held, track improvements and corrections, and communicate results.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related preferred. High School Diploma required.
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a Production Supervisor in Automotive Industry preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
Physical Demands
- Safety glasses are required to be worn at all times within the plant.
- Physical demands require standing, working in manufacturing plant environment, walking manufacturing plant floor multiple times daily, bending, reaching, stooping, talking, working long hours and overtime as required.
