New Graduate Radiology Technologist

Job Overview
This is an entry-level, Full-time New Graduate Radiology Technologist position located at the Platte Valley Clinic within the East Crossroads-Orthopedics and Podiatry unit. You will perform all diagnostic procedures within the scope of practice under the direction of a Registered Radiology Technologist, helping patients live the healthiest lives possible right at the start of your career.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Imaging Production: Produce X-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and undistorted films.
- Patient Management: Position and instruct patients regarding X-ray procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Portable Procedures: Perform X-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Film Processing: Process films for radiologists' reading/interpretation following established procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Ensure preventative maintenance is performed and contact outside service for major malfunctions.
- Teamwork: Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team to achieve clinical goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Training & Registry: Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) are required.
- Licensure: Current license/certification in the state of practice (Colorado) is required.
- Life Support: Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association is required.
Compensation and Shift Details
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours (Full-time).
- Shift Details: Monday – Friday Days, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hourly Range: The hourly rate for this position is $20.67 - $30.78, dependent upon experience.
- Benefits: This position is Benefits Eligible.
