Requirements
- Required Education
- Bachelors degree: Engineering, Construction Management, or Business
- Vocational Training
- Required Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction procedures and practices. This position requires a successful track record in all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Planning: As it pertains to MEP trades – Achieve a detailed understanding of the:
- Contract documents (drawings and specifications)
- Phasing plans
- MEP systems interrelationships
- Construction sequencing
- Project schedule
- Coordination
- Lead the coordination drawings process and facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP subcontractors during the coordination drawings process.
- Validate design issues and develop suggested alternative solutions before forwarding them to the PM.
- Assistance to design and construction team as appropriate
- Assist the design team in resolution of MEP issues.
- Assist PM in receipt and review of MEP submittals.
- Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
- Assist PM with scope review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change order work.
- Supervision
- Supervise the installation of MEP work, and other work as deemed appropriate by management.
- Lead periodic (as warranted by the job) on site coordination meetings with the subcontractors’ foremen.
- Participate in all meetings conducted by the Superintendent with foremen.

Salary : $100,000 - $165,000
