Warehouse Jockey for Holiday Decor & Design

Warehouse Jockey for our Holiday Design, production and installation crew.

This is a Seasonal-Temporary position (November 01-2026 thru January 15-2027)

We are seeking an individual with a talent for Organization who can drive 26ft non-cdl box Trucks in our yards and Stand up Forklifts in our warehouse spaces for the purpose of loading and unloading the installation and delivery trucks, preparing the installation product for the installation team, loading and unloading pallet racks in tight spaces using a stand up forklift and helping the team in preparation of Holiday decor as well to join the team for some installation work.

(We offer training but you must have experience with 26ft Boxtrucks and forklifts).

We work in large commercial and professional spaces and settings creating award winning Holiday sceneries, Moss walls and greenspaces; both with live plants, artificial and preserved.

We specialize in design, installation and maintenance of interior landscaping, interior plants and planters, green walls, moss walls and preserved plants and holiday décor in corporate and hospitality settings.

Essentials include year-round, hands-on design of Holiday features as well as all Moss walls and Frames, custom green live and artificial walls.

Grundys Plantscaping is an award-winning, family-run business with 50 years of experience servicing; Philadelphia, Delaware and New Jersey.

Being highly organized, having good communication skills, experience and basic MS Office skills are important to the success of this role.

We work as a team and in large scale format with budgets, client expectations and at times; tight time constraints.

This position starts out as a Seasonal-Temporary work, but we are looking for leaders who are looking to join our team for the long run and join our team as Full Time and make a career path with us.

Although the holiday portion only runs during the holiday season, we operate year round and so will you if you enjoy this line of work.

During the offseason we work on planning, building and conceptualizing the next season.

To be considered you must be willing to work a number of extended days (12 hours or more) around the Holidays and be available to work on certain

specific dates listed below:

· Weekend of 11/14-11/15 · Weekend of 11/21-11/22

· Weekend of 11/28-11/29 · Wednesday 12/05- 12/06

You must be able to commit to entire days to be considered.

Other requirements:

• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Valid Medical DOT
• Dependable; own vehicle insured and up to date of inspections.
• Able to remain drug free including marijuana (other prescriptions ok) on the job.
• Physically fit and able to climb up and down ladders up to 20ft without a harness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously throughout the workday.
• Good at multi-tasking and keeping detailed notes.
• Deadline oriented.
• Flexibility to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in the daily schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills when engaging with the public, clients, and coworkers.
