Electrician (2nd Shift)

As our new Electrician, you'll be performing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and facility systems that ensure uninterrupted production of world-leading pump solutions. This position is on our 2nd shift. The hours are Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm.

What You Will Be Doing

As a key part of the Assembly team, you'll create impact by ensuring maximum equipment uptime and electrical safety across our production facility, directly supporting Grundfos's mission to deliver sustainable water solutions worldwide.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components on production machinery and facility infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults on motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, and automated equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems following scheduled maintenance plans
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to execute work accurately
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC codes, safety regulations, and Grundfos standards
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and support continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

Above all, you're a hands-on problem solver with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and keeping manufacturing operations running at peak performance. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification with 3 years of industrial/manufacturing electrical experience
• Proficiency in troubleshooting three-phase power systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Working knowledge of NEC codes and industrial electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E)
  
  

It's a plus if you also:

• Familiarity with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems) such as SAP PM
• Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment

The salary range for this position is $ 55,900.00 - $69,900.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
