Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential, multi-family and commercial clients. You will utilize your knowledge of pest management techniques, along with your skills in sales and customer service, to provide effective solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, lawn care, or agriculture, and be comfortable working with various hand tools and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively according to industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding pest management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with team members to develop integrated pest management strategies that promote long-term solutions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various tasks related to pest control and lawn care.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Current or previous pest control experince is required.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of services offered.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in pest control applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
