Responsibilities:
- Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders.
- Performing entry-level maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, etc.
- Conducting diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
- Providing labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
- Performing video multi-point inspections on vehicles.
- Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles.
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
- Maintaining an organized, clean workspace and accounting for tools.
- Communicating effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
- Participating in ongoing training programs to develop expertise in automotive technologies.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair desired.
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
- Professionalism and dependability.
- Safety and customer service orientation.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects.
- Certification as a state inspector is a plus.
