What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mass Settlement Coordinator position at GRT Financial, Inc.?
- Sort and filter large data pools in Excel sheets to identify the client accounts that match settlement criteria
- Build and develop relationships with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers
- Organization and follow up on accounts being negotiated
- Calculating client settlement payment options based on client budget
- Call, email, fax creditors efficiently and effectively
- Ensure settlement or payment plan documentation is accurate and uploaded to file
- Review submitted settlements for accuracy and ensure they meet settlement guidelines
- Confirm settlement payment information is accurate
- Coordinate exchanging lists with third parties
- Review notations to verify payment information was provided to creditor (if applicable)
- Add payments and flip account to appropriate status
- Manually add payments for settlements that have been voided and renegotiated
- Participates and contributes actively at each opportunity and meets all company standards including professionalism and attendance.
- Adheres to performance expectations as defined by management and to consistently self- manage, self-motivate and strive for improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned.
