About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our operations team in Batavia, IL. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our inventory accuracy — tracking stock levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring our warehouse data reflects what's actually on the shelves. You'll work closely with receiving, shipping, and purchasing teams to keep product flowing smoothly and our customers happy.

What You'll Do
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS/ERP)
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending process improvements
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments; verify quantities against purchase orders
- Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory, overstock, and slow-moving items
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams on replenishment and stock rotation
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory throughout the facility
- Generate inventory reports for management and support month-end reconciliation
- Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS/ERP experience a plus — e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl)
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Comfortable operating pallet jacks; forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field a plus
- Dependable, organized, and a clear communicator across teams
