Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction / Electrical)– Your Job Duties:

You will oversee about 5 jobs to start, ramping up into more volume as the company grows.

Project Management & Operations

• Plan and manage construction schedules, project phases, and manpower allocation for multiple commercial electrical jobs concurrently
• Lead internal handoff meetings and provide weekly updates to leadership
• Coordinate daily with field crews to track progress and resolve jobsite issues
• Oversee procurement, materials delivery, and monitor labor/material budgets

Client & Contractor Relations

• Serve as primary contact for clients, GCs, inspectors, and stakeholders
• Present proposals, clarify scope, and manage expectations throughout projects

Documentation, Safety & Closeout

• Manage submittals, RFIs, permits, inspections, and change order tracking
• Lead project closeout, including punch list resolution, warranty documentation, and enforce safety standards
• Conduct job walks and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors

Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction / Electrical) – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit:

• At least 4 years hands on experience working as a commercial electrician on construction projects
• General understanding of construction project management cycles and process
• Solid computer skills with ability to learn and utilize construction management software programs (Contractor Foreman, Procore, Bluebeam and Excel)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction / Electrical) – You Might Have (Desired, Not Required):

• Prior experience working as a project manager with commercial construction projects (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, subcontractor or general contractor)
• Experience using Contractor Foreman, Procore, Bluebeam and Excel to manage projects
• Solid understanding of job sequencing, scheduling, and construction processes

Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Construction / Electrical) – For You:

Your compensation will be $100,000 - $130,000 annually plus incentive bonuses.

You will be provided with a daily vehicle stipend or a company vehicle.

You will be provided with medical insurance options including company contribution, dental and vision insurance options, 401k plan, paid time off, paid holidays.

Monday – Friday standard office hours.

Based in Vacaville California with travel to local job sites.
