DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Customer Sales & Analytics to support the retailer businesses we manage on behalf of our clients, with an immediate focus on Walmart and Sam’s Club.  This is a hands-on role for someone who can contribute immediately. Proficiency with Walmart Scintilla and Sam’s Club Madrid is required, along with a strong understanding of sales, forecasting, orders, inventory, replenishment and in-stock performance.   Our analysts combine retailer expertise with Factor powered by Growthwise, our BI and AI-enabled sales and analytics platform, to turn complex retailer data into clear insights and actions that help our clients grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Analyze Walmart, Sam’s Club and other retailer data to identify sales trends, risks, opportunities and actions that support client growth.
2. Independently navigate Walmart Scintilla and Sam’s Club Madrid to analyze customer performance and answer business questions.
3. Analyze POS, forecasts, orders, inventory, in-stock, replenishment and distribution to identify issues and opportunities affecting sales.
4. Partner with client sales and supply chain teams to improve forecasting, inventory planning and replenishment performance.
5. Maintain replenishment, SQEP and OTIF reporting; conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
6. Develop efficient weekly reporting, dashboards and scorecards that clearly communicate business performance and priorities.
7. Own analytics supporting line reviews, customer business reviews and retailer meetings, including item, store, warehouse and distribution analysis.
8. Translate data into clear client recommendations—what is happening, why it matters and what action should be taken.
9. Use Factor, BI and integrated AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, identify trends and exceptions, and improve the quality and speed of client insights.
10. Support Factor clients, including those who engage Growthwise to manage ongoing sales, forecasting and replenishment analytics on their behalf.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Data Science, Economics preferred.
2. 5 years in retail analytics, customer sales analysis, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain.
3. Hands-on proficiency with Walmart Scintilla and Sam’s Club Madrid required.
4. Advanced ability to analyze complex retail sales and replenishment data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
5. Strong understanding of the relationship among POS, forecasts, orders, inventory, in-stock, replenishment and distribution.
6. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency working within modern BI and data visualization platforms.
7. Ability to develop clear dashboards, reporting and client-facing business analysis.
8. Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
9. Self-directed, proactive problem solver who can manage multiple clients and priorities with a strong sense of urgency.

PREFERRED CAPABILITIES

1. Advanced Power BI or comparable BI platform capabilities.
2. Working knowledge of AI-enabled analytics and its application to structured business data and insight generation.
3. Familiarity with co-managed inventory, retailer line reviews and customer business planning.
4. Working knowledge of retailer analytics platforms beyond Walmart and Sam’s Club.
