THE OPPORTUNITY


We are looking for a Growth & Operations Lead to join us in our Bay Area office. This will be hire number 1 for GrowthWays, and as such, this is a ground-floor role with a high ceiling — designed for a sharp, hungry operator who wants to learn the craft of business advisory from someone who has done it at the highest level.


This is an apprenticeship as much as it is a job. The right person will start by running the operational engine of the practice, and grow into someone who can assess businesses, support client engagements, assess growth initiatives, and eventually deliver Guardrailing workshops and frameworks independently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


• Manage and coordinate client engagements, communications, and follow-through

• Plan and execute workshops, events, and speaking engagements end-to-end

• Research and qualify business and investment opportunities for principal review

• Identify and book speaking engagements, conference appearances, and podcast opportunities

• Source and qualify prospective advisory clients

• Build and maintain systems that keep the practice running at a high level

• Learn the Guardrailing framework deeply — with a clear path to facilitating it yourself



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


• 1-3 years of experience in business operations, entrepreneurship, consulting, or a related field (yes - internships count as experience)

• Strong research and analytical instincts — you know how to evaluate an opportunity quickly

• Excellent written and verbal communication — you can represent this brand with confidence

• A natural operator who owns things fully and follows through without reminders

• Genuine passion for entrepreneurship, business building, and advisory work

• Bay Area-based — this is an in-person role at our office

• Hungry to learn, grow, and eventually take on more responsibility

• Ability to travel to industry events, workshops, and meetings (valid passport required)



COMPENSATION & GROWTH


• Base salary: $50,000

• Commission on revenue directly generated (speaking engagements booked, clients sourced)

• Performance bonuses tied to practice growth milestones

• Clear path to facilitation, expanded advisory responsibilities, and title growth

• Direct mentorship from a founder who has built and exited at the $150M level
