About the Role
GrowthHive is a growing business development and marketing agency focused on industrial B2B markets. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with proven experience in account management in industrial and manufacturing contexts. We prefer candidates to be in the Pittsburgh area as this role is based on-site in Pittsburgh with some hybrid work options available after 3–6 months in the role.

What You’ll Do
• Be the trusted strategic advisor and advocate for a portfolio of clients, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their success and strengthen long-term partnerships.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions by managing schedules, aligning resources, and resolving challenges before they become issues, always keeping client goals front and center.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (creative, strategy, business development) to drive adoption of solutions, successful renewals, and client growth initiatives.
• Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters, ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and high levels of client satisfaction.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with accounts by conducting regular strategy sessions, presenting new ideas, and offering actionable insights tailored to each client’s industry and challenges.
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, using both qualitative insights and quantitative performance data.
• Take ownership of financial aspects of account management, including accurate monthly billing and ensuring on-time payments for each managed account.
• Actively contribute to business development by identifying cross-sell or upsell opportunities, nurturing adjacent market leads, and closing pilot projects to expand the agency’s impact.
• Support agency growth by contributing to cross-functional projects that develop new products and services, bringing client perspectives and market knowledge into the innovation process.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in account management, ideally in industrial B2B or marketing agency settings.
• Strong background in client relationship management, strategy, and problem-solving.
• Experience in manufacturing is considered a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary starting at $75,000 plus performance bonus.
