We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish-English) infant/toddler developmental specialist to join our growing team! Growth Spurt Pediatric Therapy, Inc. serves clients in their homes in the Santa Rosa area (extending to Rohnert Park/Cotati, Sonoma, Petaluma, Windsor, Healdsburg, and beyond). Most of our clients are 0-3 years old. We offer competitive pay ($35-40 per treatment session depending on experience), mileage reimbursement, paid drive time, paid session preparation time, paid no shows/late cancellations, new referral bonuses, paid sick time, paid time off, health insurance, 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer matching, a supplies/CEU stipend, and flexible scheduling. We also offer training and mentorship in a multitude of areas including feeding and eating.
Responsibilities:
The infant/toddler developmental specialist will provide weekly treatment sessions to infants and toddlers who are demonstrating a developmental delay or are at risk for a developmental delay. Spanish-English bilingual skills are strongly preferred due to the client population. Sessions are in the families homes with emphasis on use of the coaching model. The infant/toddler developmental specialist will function independently and will be responsible for treatment planning, assessments, and developmental reports with IFSP goals. Other titles for this job depending on the company are, "early intervention specialist" or "home teacher." This role would be appropriate for a BCBA wanting to focus more on overall development. We are looking for someone full time or part time (minimum 4 days per week or 24 clients per week scheduled whenever you like).
Qualifications:
-Some experience as an infant/toddler developmental specialist preferred.
-Spanish-English bilingual skills strongly preferred in order to provide services to Spanish speaking families.
-Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development, education, or a related field or equivalent professional experience (at least 4 years of experience in early intervention).
-Proficient in early childhood education techniques and early intervention strategies.
-Strong behavior management skills to effectively address challenging behaviors.
-Understanding of HIPPA guidelines.
-Excellent email communication.
-Flexibility, adaptability, problem solving capability, creativity, initiative, team player skills, multitasking ability, organizational skills, time management skills and a strong work ethic.
-Livescan/fingerprinting/background check required.
