**Candidates may possess either a Single Subject Teaching credential in Science, or a Multiple Subjects Credential** Applicants must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree and a valid California teaching credential. (A Master's Degree in Education is preferred but not required.) The successful candidate will demonstrate: - Teaching experience in their field - Belief in the unlimited potential of every child, and that every student can succeed when provided the proper access and conditions for success - Ability to work successfully with an ethnically & economically diverse student body - Commitment to disrupting inequities for marginalized students, both systemically and within one's own practice - Ability to excel as a member of a team Most importantly, applicants must possess flexibility, curiosity, perseverance, a sense of humor, and a burning passion to see students succeed.
