GTI designs and manufactures modular generator systems supporting data centers, utilities, and industrial infrastructure. These systems integrate generators, switchgear, paralleling controls, and electrical distribution into modular power platforms designed for high reliability and rapid deployment.
Position Overview
GTI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design generator electrical systems including power distribution, generator controls, and paralleling switchgear.
Key Responsibilities
• Design electrical systems supporting generator power modules
• Develop single line diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical layouts
• Integrate generators with switchgear, transfer switches, and protection systems
• Support generator synchronization and load sharing systems
• Design monitoring and control systems for generator operation
• Develop grounding and protection coordination strategies
• Support commissioning and testing of generator power systems
• Coordinate electrical design with mechanical packaging and enclosure design
• Develop production documentation supporting modular generator manufacturing
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8 years of experience in power systems or generator electrical design
• Experience with electrical distribution systems and protection devices
• Experience designing industrial control systems and electrical schematics
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with standby power or data center backup power systems
• Experience integrating generator controls and paralleling switchgear
• Experience with microgrid or hybrid power systems

Salary : $108,450 - $150,546
