What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead position at Growscape?
Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-shift huddle for Utility Operators.
- Schedule and assign shift responsibilities to Utility Operators.
- Coordinate shift break relief and training schedules. Monitor execution.
- Manage work order change process. Complete work order and paperwork changes.
- Promote continuous improvement processes, including SMED, 5S, Kaizen, problem solving, and implementing lean metrics.
- Leads by example and performs all job duties in accordance with Growscape’s values.
- Act as fill in supervisor, including:
- Complete incident response training.
- Monitor workstation organization and cleanliness.
- Provide shift leadership and training to Utility Operators.
- Communicate shift performance to leadership, including accurately communicating issues and completing end of shift paperwork.
- Track department KPIs(key performance indicators) and create/implement repair or improvement plans.
- Performs other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills, critical thinking and reading comprehension.
- Must possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and get along well with other team members.
