Job Summary
We are Commercial Landscape and Snow Management company seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, and supporting various administrative functions. Your expertise in financial software, accounting principles, and data entry will help maintain smooth financial operations and uphold compliance standards. Duties
- Process and verify vendor invoices using a few financial software platforms such as Aspire and QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Handle data entry including all purchase receipts with precision, including 10 key typing tasks, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information related to payroll, benefits administration, and financial transactions.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards and internal policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts payable or corporate accounting functions.
- Familiarity with financial software such as Aspire, QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, journal entries, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Excel formulas and spreadsheets for effective account reconciliation and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
