Job Description
GrowNScale Talent is seeking an experienced and dependable Finish Carpenter for high-end event and production projects based in Boca Raton, FL.
This position involves detailed finish carpentry, fabrication, installation, and woodworking for home shows, boat shows, concerts, trade shows, exhibits, and other large-scale productions. Most work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse environment.
The right person will be reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Finish carpentry, fabrication, and installation for high-end production projects
- Build, install, and finish walls, displays, trim, cabinetry, platforms, and custom structures
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials according to project specifications
- Read measurements, drawings, and project plans
- Assist with setup, modifications, and preparation of structures for upcoming events
- Perform onsite installation or teardown when needed
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Finish Carpenter or in high-end carpentry, millwork, fabrication, or production work
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and finishing techniques
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install materials
- Ability to read drawings and project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation
- Background check and drug test required
Position Details
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Environment: Climate-controlled warehouse with occasional onsite event work
Position: 1099 Contractor
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience
