Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine behavioral needs and progress
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to inform treatment adjustments and ensure measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, medical staff, and caregivers, to coordinate care strategies
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure fidelity of interventions
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient progress, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct intake assessments for new clients and participate in ongoing patient care planning
Requirements
- Valid BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or equivalent credentialing body
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and data collection methods
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical documentation standards
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients’ families, caregivers, and healthcare providers
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality
