What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Growing Tree?
We are hiring Teacher Assistants who wish to work towards becoming a Qualified Preschool and/or Toddler Teachers. Get on the job training and assistance towards your certification. We are accepting applications for both full-time and part-time positions.
We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and caring individual who genuinely enjoy working with young children and takes pride in creating a welcoming and nurturing classroom.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Enjoys working with young children and is passionate about early childhood education.
- Takes pride in their classroom and creates a warm, inviting environment.
- Works well as part of a team and is eager to follow direction and learn while on the job.
- Has a positive attitude, warm personality, and welcoming temperament.
- Is dependable, organized, and consistent in attendance and classroom routines.
- Understands the importance of following lesson plans, daily schedules, and established classroom routines, as young children thrive on consistency, structure, and predictability.
- Is attentive, patient, nurturing, and committed to providing children with a safe and positive learning environment.
