What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Center Director position at Growing Tree Daycare?
The Director will be responsible for hiring and supervising staff, setting-up and maintaining classrooms and playground, maintaining all records for staff and children, filling in as staff when needed, enrolling children and ensuring that all licensing rules and regulations are being followed. Must also have the ability to manage, organize, and communicate effective with parents, staff and supervisors, and to present themselves in a professional manner. Implement and follow ODJFS licensing rules. Ensure child to teacher ratios are followed and met. Collect and follow up on billing and payments. Create weekly staff schedule.
Qualifications: Associates, or preferred Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Two years' experience working in a licensed child care program.
