Machine Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tissue and Paper Machine Operator to join our production team. The candidate will have a min of 3-year background in tissue or paper converting operations and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.

Position Details:

• Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Understand tissue production processes.
• Set-up machine, and handling raw materials.
• Move and maneuver material and equipment using manual or forklift.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor tissue rewinder equipment to ensure efficient production.
• Monitor and maintain roll movement through conveyors and wrapper systems.
• Load raw materials and set up machinery according to production requirements.
• Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs and ensure safe operations.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished tissue products.
• Pack finished goods into corrugated boxes and prepare pallets for shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Complete safety training, fall protection, confined space entry, forklift safety certification.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Assist with unloading and handling Parent rolls and cores raw material.
• Walk and/or stand the majority of the day shift.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating rewinder or similar equipment.
• Forklift certification required.
• Experience in parent roll handling is a plus.
• Forklift Clamp experience is a plus.
• Mechanical and industrial knowledge.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Engage in manual labor for an entire 9-hour shift.
• Lift 40 lbs. frequently, 40-50 lbs. occasionally, and over 50 lbs.
• Overtime may be required.

Pay: From $2,500.00 per month
