About the Role
We’re looking for a Child Development Assistant Teacher who’s equal parts caregiver, cheerleader, storyteller, and tiny-human wrangler. You’ll help create a safe, playful, and nurturing environment where little minds can grow, explore, and occasionally cover themselves in paint.
What You’ll Do
- Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities
- Read stories with dramatic flair (voices encouraged )
- Help with art projects, playtime, and learning activities
- Comfort boo-boos (emotional and otherwise)
- Celebrate milestones—big and small
- Keep things organized… or at least organized-ish
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine love for working with children
- Patience, positivity, and a good sense of humor
- Ability to get down on the floor… and back up again
- Basic knowledge of child development (or eagerness to learn!)
- Team player with a kind heart
Bonus Points If You:
- Can sing nursery rhymes without hesitation
- Know at least 3 ways to stop a toddler meltdown
- Don’t mind leaving work with glitter on your clothes
