PRN Sonographer - OB and Elective 3D/4D

Growing Love Ultrasound, a leading elective and diagnostic ultrasound studio in Destin, is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Sonographer to join our team.
Please, if you are not able to work weekends or evenings, do not apply for the position. If you are Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese it's a huge plus.

If you have experience scanning in 3D/4D or 5D that's also a plus!
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to our clients.

Our immediate need is currently for Wednesday/Thursday/Friday AFTERNOON and every other Sunday. More availability as needed and if desired.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Graduation from accredited school of ultrasound.
• Current AART/ARDMS Certification or equivalent
• Current American Heart Association recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of experience in OB/Gyn diagnostic sonography- preferred. This is NOT an entry level sonographer position, you MUST be able to perform the job without needing supervision or on the job sonographer training.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach.
• Weekday Afternoon and Weekend availability
• Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasounds with attention to accuracy, safety, and patient comfort, using the advanced technology available at our studio.
• Work independently with confidence and skill to capture clear, optimal images.
• Monitor each client’s comfort and well-being during their session, providing reassurance and care throughout.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to diagnostic sonography.
• Respond compassionately to client needs, ensuring a supportive and calming experience.
• Follow proper safety and cleanliness protocols, including sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
• Address and troubleshoot PACS or imaging system issues when needed.
• Stay current with training, equipment knowledge, and ultrasound best practices.
• Protect the privacy of all client information with strict confidentiality.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with a personal commitment to excellence.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring clients feel welcomed, cared for, and celebrated during their visit.
• Keep equipment in top condition and maintain a clean, inviting, and safe studio environment.
• Collaborate with our Growing Love team to create the best possible experience for every client.
• Fulfill keyholder duties, including proper studio opening and closing procedures.

Pay: $42.00 - $60.00 per hour
