Experienced, Patient Centered Physician Assistant Needed for Busy Physician-Owned Internal Medicine Practice- Duluth, Ga. No Call or Weekends!
Well-established Primary Care practice in Gwinnett County, Ga. with affiliations to Northside and Emory facilities seeks to add a Physician Assistant with 2 years of experience to join our team of caring and capable providers.
Since 2003 our Practice has built a reputation of providing excellent medical care with sincere compassion. We are seeking equally talented people with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to join our staff.
Work Location:
In Person; Fulltime- 5 days a week with one afternoon off; convenient location near to Northside Duluth Hospital.
Responsibilities are provided under the direction of a supervising physician and include, but are not limited to:
- Examining, evaluating, and treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, illness or injuries
- Reviewing medical histories to understand patients’ present health concerns
- Performing routine exams and/or ordering tests and assessments
- Reviewing the results of lab work and diagnostic tests
- Ordering prescriptions and medications
- Developing and managing treatment and wellness plans
Requires:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Georgia State licensure as a Physician Assistant
- 2 Previous experience in Internal Medicine or a related specialty
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with E Clinical Works (ECW) a plus
- Excellent clinical and communication skills and a commitment to excellence and patient support
Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive compensation ($130,000 to $140,000 base) with bonus Opportunity of $10,000 to $15,000 per year.
