What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Growing Healthy Children?
As a medical assistant for our busy pediatrics office, you are responsible for assisting the providers with patient care. You must administer vaccines, take vitals and accurately enter information into an EMR system and on shot logs as well as other duties. The medical assistant must have common medical knowledge, excellent customer service skills and open availability during office hours. You must be able to stand for 8-10 hours and work in a fast paced environment. Experience with pediatrics is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
