Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse & Grounds Support Technician to assist with both indoor warehouse operations and outdoor facility and grounds maintenance. This role is essential to keeping our facility safe, organized, and operating efficiently. Duties include unloading trucks, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, supporting inventory movement, and performing routine outdoor maintenance.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, is comfortable working in all weather conditions, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Unload and load trucks safely and efficiently
- Support warehouse operations including cleaning, sanitation, and general upkeep
- Follow food safety, workplace safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, weed control, snow removal, and debris cleanup
- Assist with outdoor sanitation measures
- Help maintain clear walkways, docks, and yard areas for safety and access
- Perform seasonal outdoor tasks as assigned
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment concerns
- Follow company policies, food safety requirements, and audit standards
- Support other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical labor in varied conditions.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations a plus.
