Position Summary
Our Maintenance Technicians perform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment used in juice manufacturing. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and experience with industrial electrical systems, pumps, pneumatics, plumbing, and general fabrication.
Essential Job Functions
· Inspect, repair, maintain, assemble, and disassemble industrial processing equipment
· Work with operators to gather information and diagnose equipment issues through testing and observation
· Perform and document preventive maintenance per schedule
· Conduct root-cause analysis on breakdowns and equipment failures
· Complete all required work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
· Support and uphold food safety and worker safety programs
· Follow all GMP, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and plant safety policies
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Required Skills & Competencies
· Proficiency in mechanical and industrial maintenance
· Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance abilities
· Experience with mechanical and electrical repair
· Understanding of workplace safety procedures
· Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
· Technical certifications or maintenance training (preferred)
· Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred)
Requirements
Education & Experience
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Formal training in maintenance or equivalent hands-on experience
Physical Requirements
· Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 100 lbs
· Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces
· Frequent kneeling, bending, climbing, reaching, and stooping
· Ability to work safely at heights using lifts, ladders, platforms, and stairs
· Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
