The Opportunity

As the Dispensary Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring all aspects of the operations run smooth.  Your focus will be to support the leadership team and assist in building and growing the dispensary team.  You must possess excellent customer service skills, sound decision making skills, and have the ability to work with little or no supervision.

What You Get to Do

• Recommend suitable cannabis products to customers, address customers' concerns, and ensure that sales floors are adequately stocked and maintained
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases
• Stay abreast of new cannabis products on the market
• Process customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system as needed
• Ensure that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times
• Educate customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products as needed
• Assist with receiving cannabis products as needed
• Check customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age
• Take inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked
• Understand in-store information such as merchandising and branding points
• Follow, and ensure cash handling procedures are maintained
• Respond to requests from management
• Open/ Close the dispensary as needed
• Handle inventory change requests
• Ensure product labeling is compliant, and items are ready for sales floor

What Qualifies You

·         Two (2) years of relevant experience in employee relations, customer service, and retail.

·         Must be able to secure a license from the Regulatory Agency.

·         Responsible for following all relevant Cannabis Regulations.

·         Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
