Video Editing Intern Position

Gain experience in client communication and project management by:

• Meeting with clients to establish the desired feel and look for the video to be created.
• Assisting with meeting scheduling, set up, logistics, and note-taking/meeting minutes.

Develop technical skills in video editing by:

• Operating computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects.
• Establishing a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation.
• Improving video and sound quality using various video software.
• Editing video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other important aspects of the project.
• Ensuring the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications.

Contribute to social media strategy and brand awareness by:

• Writing and scheduling social media posts on all social media accounts.
• Promoting content that is created by you and our team when appropriate.
• Bringing innovation to the table by suggesting new ideas for social media content and branding initiatives.

Applicants for this internship program must meet one of the following criteria:

• Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution and receiving school credit for the internship.
• Must be able to demonstrate that the internship is integrated with their coursework, enhancing their educational experience.
• Must fulfill specific educational requirements set by their institution, department, or major program of study.

• Degree/profile in Film Studies, Media Arts, Broadcast Journalism, Cinematography etc.
• Fluent English (Bilingual is a plus).
• Business-oriented and open-minded.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to gain people's confidence and put them at ease.
• Able to cope with pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable.

Internship Duration: This is a 3-6 month unpaid internship.

Positions Available: We are seeking either 1 full-time intern or 2 part-time interns (one for morning shifts, one for afternoon shifts).

Shift Options: Choose from the following shift options:

• 20 hours per week for 6 months
• 30 hours per week for 4 months
• 40 hours per week for 3 months

Daily Schedule: You will be required to work 4 hours per day between 6 AM and 10 PM EST. There is flexibility in choosing the specific hours that best fit your schedule, as long as you complete your required shift hours for the week by Friday at 10 PM EST.
