Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to support clinic operations and front office functions. This is an entry-level friendly position with paid training provided, ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in healthcare administration, client coordination, and office operations.
This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations while supporting both staff and families.
This is a Temporary Part-Time, Non-Exempt Employee position. Assignment expected to end on or around May 15, 2026. Employment is at-will and may end earlier or be extended based on business needs.
Position Details
- Location: Lompoc, CA (In-Person)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Employment Type: Temporary Part-Time, Non-Exempt
- Supervisor: Operations Administrator
- Introductory Period: 90 days
Key Responsibilities
- Open clinic and ensure front office and common areas are clean, organized, and ready for the day
- Greet clients and families in a warm, professional manner and provide a positive first impression
- Answer phone calls, route inquiries, and take accurate messages
- Manage client check-in and check-out processes
- Support scheduling coordination (confirm appointments, manage client flow, assist with pickups)
- Maintain organization of clinic materials and front desk supplies
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks (filing, data entry, documentation support)
- Monitor daily clinic flow and communicate updates to staff as needed
- Communicate effectively with English- and Spanish-speaking families
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred but not required)
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Additional Information (California Compliance)
- This is a non-exempt (hourly) position, eligible for overtime in accordance with California labor laws
