We are looking for a Production Technician to join our team to help support the manufacturing of our various product lines. The person in this role will be intimately involved in multiple aspects of manufacturing these products including preparation work, equipment operation, cleaning, and product packaging. The person in this role must be detail-oriented, technologically competent, and possess high standards for cleanliness. The person in this role will be challenged to work efficiently and strategically to ensure complete and on time execution of increasingly demanding production schedules. The position reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is expected to perform their role in accordance with company policy, rules, and regulations. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare, operate, clean, and maintain all production equipment and work areas
- Operate extraction and post-processing equipment including but not limited to: terpene extraction, cannabinoid ethanol extraction, and solvent recovery systems
- Contribute to the packaging and labeling of various cannabis and cannabis-infused products.
- Maintain a high standard of product quality, ensuring all items are free from contaminants and meet Breakwater's rigorous standards.
- Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance on, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of equipment and workstations.
- Flexibly shift roles as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) diligently and report any inconsistencies or issues to the Production Manager.
- Adhere to all state regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Create and maintain pristine batch records by logging and tracking related information
- Be adaptive to changing schedules and tasks as directed by management.
- Ensure that all work areas are clean, organized, and free from contaminants.
- Contribute to a culture of high safety and quality standards
