Harvest Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare cultivation space and hallway for harvest
- Carry out whole plant harvest
- Carry out fresh frozen harvest
- Assist with final defoliations in flower rooms
- Performs product inspection for irregularities, particulates and other contaminants
- Verifies that raw materials meet specifications
- Post-harvest clean up and room turnover
- Logging waste in accordance with facility procedures
- Ensure that plants get hung and labeled appropriately within the dry rooms
- Assist with compliance aspects within the harvest process including the recording and reporting of harvest weights
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma / GED or higher
- A minimum of (1) year of related cannabis experience
- Maintain clean, sanitary and organized work areas.
- Self motivated and the ability to multitask.
- An effective and persuasive communicator that constantly strives for simplicity and clarity. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform manual labor tasks required for the management of the grow
- Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry and the harvest process
- Strong leadership experience, with experience leading large teams
- Strong attention to detail
