Pay: $17.00 per hour, plus tips

ABOUT THE ROLE
Every visit to Embr Springfield starts at the counter, and that's where you come in. As a Cannabis Sales Consultant, you'll be the friendly, well-informed guide who helps each guest find what fits their needs, answers questions with care and accuracy, and keeps every sale fully compliant with state rules.
New to the cannabis industry? That's okay. We'll pay you while you learn our menu, our point-of-sale system, and the procedures that keep our store running smoothly.
A DAY ON THE SALES FLOOR
• Guest Experience – Greet every customer warmly and make each visit feel easy, respectful, and professional
• Product Guidance – Walk guests through product options and share general information to help them choose with confidence
• Compliant Communication – Keep all product conversations accurate and consistent with Massachusetts cannabis regulations
• ID & Sales Checks – Verify age and identification on every transaction and follow all required sales protocols
• Checkout – Ring up purchases and handle payments correctly through our POS system
• Store Presentation – Keep displays tidy, shelves stocked, and the sales floor clean and inviting
• Inventory Support – Help with restocking, merchandising, and other daily operational tasks as needed
• Teamwork – Partner with coworkers and managers and follow company policies along with state and local laws
YOUR SCHEDULE
This full-time role is built around five shifts each week. Because the store is busy all week long, we need team members with flexible availability across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Assigned shifts may change based on business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
• 21 years of age or older
• Availability for five shifts weekly, including early, late, weekend, and holiday hours
• A track record of showing up on time and as scheduled
• Clear, friendly communication and a genuine interest in helping people
• The ability to pick up product knowledge, POS systems, and store procedures quickly
• Comfort keeping pace in a busy retail setting
• Bonus (not required): background in retail, hospitality, customer service, or cannabis
