Piano Instructor
Rapidly growing music school located in Palatine is looking for a dependable and qualified piano instructor to teach beginning through advanced piano students. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love of music in our students and to make lessons convenient and stress-free for families and teachers.
Qualified teachers focus on music fundamentals (scales, note-reading, etc.), can arrange songs for beginner piano, and are familiar with classical performance repertoire for beginners through advanced students. A music performance or music education degree is required. Familiarity with AIM testing and being a current member of MTNA are a plus. We offer a friendly and comfortable teaching environment and a convenient location next to the Palatine Public Library. Once your schedule is "full time" or 5 days a week, you will be offered an attractive benefits package that includes a 401k with company match and BCBS health insurance.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance or Education.
- Minimum one years of teaching experience
- High level of musicianship and personal responsibility
- Ability to teach beginning through advanced levels
- A professional, courteous, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Compensation is based on experience and training.
