Metrc Certified / Post Harvest Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Metrc-Trained Post Harvest Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Metrc, the cannabis tracking system, and possess exceptional administrative skills to support our cultivation facility's daily operations.

You will be required to come into office 5 times per week to ensure all Metrc updates are up to date within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Metrc Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Metrc regulations and guidelines in all aspects of inventory management and reporting. Staying up to date with the CCC bulletins and laws is also needed within this role.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain inventory data, including plant counts, harvest data, transfers, and sales transactions, into the Metrc system.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized records and documentation related to cultivation activities, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Communication: Liaise with cultivation and administrative teams to communicate any discrepancies, issues, or updates regarding Metrc compliance.
• Training: Assist in training staff members on Metrc procedures and best practices to ensure company-wide compliance.

Post Harvest:

• Maintain accurate Excel sheet of all current inventory and ensure all information on our Apex store front is 100% accurate as well.
• Send out weekly emails to potential buyers of current inventory and coordinate sales. This would include reaching out to our transportation service, coordinating a pick up and drop off, and creating the manifest. You must be able to coordinate a sale start to finish.
• Weigh current inventory and make all Metrc updates.
• Scan rooms and do a monthly Metrc audit.
• Put together sales orders.

Qualifications:

• Metrc Expertise: Previous experience working with the Metrc system in a cannabis cultivation facility is required.
• Administrative Skills: Strong proficiency in office administration, including data entry, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and regulatory agencies.
• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing regulations and procedures in the cannabis industry.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
• Discretion: Understanding of the sensitive nature of cannabis cultivation and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a cannabis cultivation facility.
• Metrc certification or training is required.
