We are seeking an in-office, versatile Technology Solutions Specialist to join our team in our Raleigh, NC Corporate Office. In and out of state travel is required.
About the Role: This role is ideal for an IT generalist with strong troubleshooting skills, a passion for customer service and managing the Service Desk queues with a focus on documentation with troubleshooting steps and timely resolution times
Skills, Knowledge and Ability: Ability to communicate, receive, and transfer written, oral, and electronic information effectively. Respond to incoming calls, emails, and support requests. Troubleshoot hardware, software (installs, upgrades, and functionality), networks, printers, and mobile devices. Strong customer service, technical, documentation and troubleshooting skills. Ability to analyze, organize, file and distribute information. Experience with Windows 10, MS Office 365 troubleshooting. Ability to work under stressful conditions with multiple deadlines. Ability to apply IT to solve business problems. Experience working in a primarily Windows enterprise. Capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Adminstration or a related field and 1 year of experience working in a technical support role.
Accepted: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field and 3 years of experience working in a technical support role.
Essential Functions:
- Maintaining and deploying technology inventory, supporting Microsoft Teams Phone System and Office 365 tools.
- Resolving service desk requests, and developing user guides and training documentation while delivering proactive support initiatives.
- Strong skills in Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Admin, and enterprise IT environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and multitasking abilities are essential, along with a willingness to travel in and/or out of state.
