What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position at GROW Counseling & Training Center?
About GROW Counseling and Training Center
GROW Counseling and Training Center is a nonprofit counseling and training organization in Northwest Arkansas committed to clinical excellence, professional development, and meaningful care for clients. Our mission is to help people grow—personally, relationally, and professionally—through high-quality counseling and training.
We intentionally build a team of high-caliber clinicians who care deeply about their work, collaborate well with others, and invest in the development of younger clinicians. In addition to providing counseling services, GROW functions as a training environment where experienced therapists help mentor resident counselors and clinicians early in their careers.
Unlike many counseling positions, GROW offers a salaried role with benefits and four weeks of paid time off—a rare combination in outpatient counseling that provides stability while allowing clinicians to focus on excellent care and continued professional growth.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) for both full-time and part-time positions based in Northwest Arkansas, with some flexibility for remote work. The clinician will provide therapy to individuals and/or couples while maintaining high standards of clinical care and documentation.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, maintaining accurate and confidential client records, and collaborating with other clinicians on the team.
Because GROW is also a training center, clinicians may have opportunities to support and mentor resident counselors or interns, contributing to the professional development of the next generation of therapists.
