We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging daily lesson plans tailored to the developmental stages of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment following health and safety regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and other caregiving duties as needed for infants and toddlers
- Collaborate with team members to create inclusive activities that support children with disabilities or special needs
- Ensure compliance with licensing standards and company policies related to childcare
Skills
- Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific activities
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
- First aid certification preferred; CPR training is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, guardians, and team members
- Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude toward children of all ages
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
