Responsibilities
- Provide basic care to children of various ages. (1yrs old to Pre-K), which includes relationship building with families
- Create and facilitate classroom lesson plans
- Assist with required licensing protocols for documentation, and sanitization etc.
- Work cooperatively with other classroom teachers helping children reach social/emotional physical, and intellectual milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities at pick-up
- Not be afraid to have fun, be silly, get creative!
- Shifts available from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Qualifications
- Early Childhood certification or the qualifications to apply for the certificate:
- Previous experience in the field
- Completion of coursework or some college credits in early childhood
- Strong understanding of child development
- Dependability as consistency is important for classroom management
- First aid/CPR certified preferred
Pay commensurate with certification and experience
