Job Description:
- Provide supervision and direction for Guest Services staff / Valet staff
- Provide training and guidance in valet, bell and shuttle operations
- Deliver exceptional guest service during check-in and check-out through Valet operations
- Efficiently park vehicles in a timely and safe manner, including in compact spaces
- Uphold high guest satisfaction by setting a strong example and leading the team effectively
- Assist Front Office Manager and other management staff with departmental needs
- Assist with and coordinate large group arrivals and departures
- Keep track of departmental supplies, valet tags, etc. and assist with ordering new supplies
- Lead by example in following all departmental rules and procedures
- Assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager interviewing potential candidates for open positions
- Work as a team player with the other hotel departments
- Keep in close contact with Department Managers and other supervisors to keep everyone informed of important issues, new training tactics, and procedure changes
- Maintain daily staffing levels; send staff home when unnecessary, etc.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-focused industry
- Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and work energetically for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortably working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willing to work Weekends, Nights, Holidays, and Overnights
