What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa and Fitness Club Receptionist position at Grove Fitness Club & Spa?
We are looking for a friendly EARLY BIRD to serve as our members and guests first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Looking for someone who is a available weekends, and early mornings. The available hours are opening shifts from 5am-10am one day per week, and 8am-3pm one day per week, plus subbing additional shifts if able.
Job responsibilities include opening the club alone at 5am weekdays and 8am weekends, so punctuality and reliability are a MUST! Other duties are booking spa appointments, giving tours, signing up new members and providing information about services, rates and amenities. If you are an early bird, with a passion the fitness and spa industry, we’d love to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone spa appointments
- Collecting necessary information (like contact details, credit card, and exact dates of their service)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival
- Provide information about our gym, available services, rates and amenities
- Respond to any complaints in a timely and professional manner and direct them to the appropriate person
- Light cleaning to ensure all areas are clean and tidy to accommodate member needs
- Confirm spa reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated notes on bookings and payments
Skills
- Work experience as a Gym Front Desk Agent, Spa Receptionist or similar role is helpful
- Experience with spa reservations software, like Booker or Mindbody is a plus but not necessary
- Stellar Customer service attitude
- Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills
