This leadership role requires 3 years of experience in concrete pouring and/or finishing. We are looking for hard working individuals who want rewarded for their efforts. Applicants with a CDL A license start at a higher wage.

Duties
- Lead, or be the 2nd in command, on a 3 to 5 man concrete finishing crew.
- Perform form building, framing, and setting up concrete molds for various structures including foundations, floors, walls, and sidewalks.
- Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) according to schematics and blueprints to reinforce concrete structures.
- Lead pouring of concrete.
- Prepare concrete surfaces by leveling, smoothing, and finishing with hand tools and power tools to achieve high-quality results.
- Operate skid-steers, concrete buggies, concrete mixers, saws, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks and handle materials such as rebar, wire, or form materials with proper techniques.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and inspecting work areas regularly for safety compliance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete forms, layouts, and finishing details.
- Lead team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Optional - drive F-350 work truck and trailer to job sites.
Requirements
- 3 year of Concrete pouring and/or finishing experience required.
- Class A CDL is a large plus and will result in a higher starting wage.
- Knowledge of concrete installation techniques, including form building, rebar installation, and concrete pouring/finishing.
- Strong teamwork skills required to cohesively lead a concrete finishing crew.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks along with stamina for long hours on-site in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of power tools, skid steers, and heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to read or learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with attention to detail is a major advantage.
- Ability speak, understand, read, and write in fluent English absolutely required.
- Driver’s license along with a good driving record preferred, but not necessary for the role.
This role is based out of our Alliance/Lisbon area company shop with daily travel in company vehicles to and from construction sites across northeast Ohio. Overnight travel is not necessary.
Benefits include: Weekly Pay; medical, vision, and dental insurance; 401k with match, paid time off (PTO), $750 quarterly driver bonus program (if you are a primary crew driver), all with a family atmosphere.
Starting wage range is $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. Additional $1.00 per hour wage increase after successful completion of 60-day review.
